JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri General Assembly gave final approval to the state’s operating budget for the 2019 fiscal year. The Missouri Constitution requires lawmakers to truly agree and finally pass a balanced budget that provides funding for the state’s agencies and departments. Thirteen budget bills make up the state’s $28 billion spending plan for the 2019 fiscal year.
