JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, discusses Senate Bill 72, legislation that seeks to define wind farms as local property for property tax assessments of electric companies. Missouri senators sent this measure to the Missouri House of Representatives this week. He also talks about Senate Bill 7, which would modify provisions of civil procedure regarding joinder and venue. The Missouri Senate gave his proposal preliminary approval this week.
