JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri General Assembly gave its final approval to the state operating budget for the 2020 fiscal year, which includes funding increases for K-12 and higher education. In the coming weeks, the governor will consider which of the budget’s line items to sign into law and which line items he may wish to veto. The 2020 fiscal year begins on Monday, July 1, 2019.
