JEFFERSON CITY — Members of the Missouri Senate third read and passed the 13 bills that compose the state operating budget for the 2020 fiscal year. Now that the Senate and House of Representatives have both approved their respective versions of the state budget, a conference committee will meet to negotiate any discrepancies. Both bodies must pass an identical state budget by May 10, sending it to the governor for his consideration.
