This week marked the beginning of the Second Regular Session of the 99th General Assembly, and my first regular session as a state senator. It is truly an honor to be one of 34 senators in the state of Missouri. Each senatorial district is comprised of roughly 175,000 Missourians. My area (28th District) includes Benton, Cedar, Dallas, Hickory, Laclede, Pettis, Polk and St. Clair counties.
I am pleased that President Pro Tem Ron Richard has officially assigned me to the following committees:
Agriculture, Food Productions and Outdoor Resources
Local Government and Elections
I look forward to serving on each of these committees and serving both my constituents and the citizens of Missouri.
I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to represent the 28th District. If, at any time, you have questions, concerns or ideas regarding state government, please feel free to contact me at (573) 751-8793 or Sandy.Crawford@senate.mo.gov.

Charles Bourland (St. Clair Co.) & Gary Noakes (St. Clair Co.) visited Sen. Crawford in the Capitol.
Senator Crawford attended the Missouri Department of Public Safety Medal of Valor Recognition Awards Ceremony on Oct. 28 in Jefferson City. At the ceremony, Sgt. Jason Glendenning (top) and Trooper Tyler Zimmerman (bottom) were each presented the Missouri Medal of Valor by Gov. Greitens for their role in rescuing boaters during treacherous conditions on the Niangua River. Senator Crawford presented both of them a Senate Resolution recognizing their efforts as well.
