State Sen. Dan Hegeman Congratulates Aimee Agderian on Senate Confirmation

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Dan Hegeman, R-Cosby, is proud to congratulate Aimee Agderian, a resident of the 12th Senatorial District, on her recent confirmation as a member of Missouri’s Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission.

Aimee Agderian and family visit with Sen. Dan Hegeman on April 24 during her hearing before the Senate Gubernatorial Appointments Committee.

Agderian lives in Kearney and is a deputy sheriff in the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, where she has worked for more than 23 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from the University of Missouri—Kansas City and a Master of Public Affairs from Park University.

“I am proud to see another resident of Missouri’s Great Northwest confirmed to a state commission,” Sen. Hegeman said. “If her past experience in the Clay County Sheriff’s Office is anything to go by, I believe Ms. Agderian will make an excellent member of the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission.”

The governor announced his appointment of Agderian on April 3. She traveled to Jefferson City on April 24 for her hearing before the Senate Gubernatorial Appointments Committee and received confirmation from the full Senate on April 25.
