JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, discusses education issues, including Senate Bill 875. This measure was heard in the Missouri Senate Education Committee last week, and says no public school could be a member of a statewide activities association if the association prohibits a home school student from participating in any event or activity offered by a public school in the school district in which the student resides.
