JEFFERSON CITY — Sen. Bill Eigel, R-Weldon Spring, presented Senate Joint Resolution 44 for consideration to the Missouri Senate Ways and Means Committee. The proposed change to the state constitution prohibits counties and other political subdivisions from levying or collecting a tax on personal property.
