JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer, R-Parkville, has presented a Senate Resolution to the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce in recognition of the group’s 100th annual banquet. Senator Luetkemeyer presented the resolution to chamber President R. Patt Lilly during Great Northwest Days at the State Capitol.
Established in 1862, the St. Joseph Chamber has held an annual banquet each year for the past century. The annual gala allows the Chamber to recognize long-time members and celebrate successes with the business community.
“For well over 100 years, the Chamber of Commerce has been the most powerful champion of St. Joseph business,” Sen. Luetkemeyer said. “I congratulate the St. Joe Chamber on the many contributions it makes to the community and convey my heartfelt appreciation for all the services this organization provides.”
The business development organization held its centennial annual banquet on Jan. 18, 2020.
“I appreciate Sen. Luetkemeyer’s support of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce and the recognition this resolution represents,” Chamber President Lilly said.
