Current Bill Summary

SB 494 - Under current law, the Department of Revenue may determine the appropriate placement of veteran designations on driver's licenses and identification cards. This act provides that the Department shall place the veteran designations on the front of the licenses and identification cards.

This act is identical to HB 262 (2021) and a provision in the truly agreed to and finally passed SS/SCS/SB 120 (2021).
