SB 501 - This act provides that insurance producers' licenses and insurance producers' surplus lines licenses shall be renewed every 2 years on the producer's birth date, rather than every 2 years on the anniversary of the license being issued. This act is substantially similar to HB 1156 (2021), provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed HCS/SS/SB 6 (2021), and provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed HCS/SB 29 (2021).
