Sen. Sandy Crawford to Serve on Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhancement Commission

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Sandy Crawford, R-Buffalo, has been chosen to serve on the Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhancement Commission. Senator Crawford is one of four members of the Missouri General Assembly who serve on the panel.

“It is truly a high honor to be a part the Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhancement Commission,” Sen. Crawford said. “Missouri is home to many brave men and women who choose to serve their country in the finest ways possible. I am excited to join this commission and support our military men and women in any way I can.”

Established in 2005 by the Missouri General Assembly, the Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhancement Commission is a nine-member commission that has a statutory charge to preserve and expand the military’s presence and success in Missouri, while also preserving the economic, social and societal benefits the military provides for our state. Missouri’s military activities play an integral role in the state’s economy, providing 275,000 direct and indirect jobs.
