SB 803 - Under this act, any contract or agreement that creates or establishes the terms of a partnership, employment, or any other form of professional relationship between a nonprofit hospital or health system and a physician or an advanced practice registered nurse that includes any restriction of the right of the physician or advanced practice registered nurse to practice medicine or nursing in any geographic area for any period of time after the termination of such partnership, employment, or professional relationship shall be void and unenforceable with respect to said restriction. This act is identical to SB 223 (2021) and SB 932 (2020) and substantially similar to SB 52 (2015).
