Current Bill Summary

SB 1110 - This act requires the Attorney General to provide representation to the circuit courts in proceedings before the Judicial Finance Commission. Additionally, this act provides that any legal fees incurred by the circuit court in such proceedings shall be paid from the State Legal Expense Fund and not from any funds of the county involved in the proceeding.

This act is substantially similar to SB 348 (2021) and SB 1047 (2020) and is similar to HCS/HB 2703 (2022).
