Current Bill Summary

SB 1173 - Currently, there are 20 circuit judges in the 21st Judicial Circuit located in St. Louis County. Beginning in fiscal year 2024, this act increases the number of circuit judges to 21 with each judge siting in a separate division of the court.

This act is identical to a provision in HB 2423 (2022) and HA#4 to HCS/SS/SCS/SBs 775, 751, & 640 (2022).
