JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Denny Hoskins, R-Warrensburg, has been recognized by two leading national conservative advocacy groups. Senator Hoskins has been named a member of the 2022 leadership class of the National Club for Growth Foundation, and the American Conservative Union Foundation has recognized the senator for his conservative voting record.
“I take positions and cast votes based on principle, not to win awards, but it is nice to be recognized,” Sen. Hoskins said. “These two distinctions provide testimony that I am on the right track in upholding traditional American values and working to minimize the intrusion of government on hard-working taxpayers.”
As a member of the Club for Growth’s 2022 leadership class, Sen. Hoskins will join a national network of conservative leaders dedicated to educating the public about economic freedom and limited government, according to the group. The members of the group attend a series of online teleconferences, as well as two in-person events throughout the year. The American Conservative Union Foundation, best known for the annual CPAC, or Conservative Political Action Conference, recognized Sen. Hoskins for casting votes in the legislature that further “limited and transparent government, individual rights, personal responsibility and lasting cultural values.”
