Current Bill Summary

SB 694 - This act provides that the maximum contaminant level of vinyl chloride in drinking water shall not exceed 0.2 parts per billion. The Safe Drinking Water Commission shall promulgate rules to monitor such vinyl chloride level in drinking water in accordance with this act.

This act is substantially similar to HCS/HB 1378 (2023).
