HB 33 -- PREEMPTION OF FIREARMS

This bill repeals Section 21.750, RSMo, in which the General Assembly preempts the entire field of firearms regulation. This bill allows political subdivisions to regulate firearms in any manner allowed by state and federal law that is consistent with their police powers or charter.

This bill is the same as HB 1459 (2022).
