HB 465 -- FOREIGN OWNERSHIP OF LAND

Currently, foreign ownership of agricultural land in the state of Missouri may not exceed 1% of the total agricultural land in the state. This bill reduces the percentage to 0.5% and prohibits any alien or foreign business from purchasing or leasing land within 30 miles of certain agricultural land, military grounds, or business establishments engaged in certain military manufacturing.
This bill is similar to SB 55 (2023).
