HB 504 -- ELIGIBILITY FOR EARLY RELEASE

SPONSOR: Plank

Any person who is serving a sentence for a marijuana-related offense may petition the sentencing court to vacate the sentence and order immediate release from incarceration. When the petitioner is serving a sentence only for a marijuana-related offense or offenses, the Department of Corrections shall immediately release the person from custody and supervision.
