HB 507 -- INCLUSIVE CURRICULUM

This bill allows school districts to teach students information on the roles and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in United States history, government, literature, art, music, values, and culture.

The bill requires the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) to develop an inclusive curriculum that may be used by school districts beginning with the 2024-25 school year.

This bill is the same as HB 1845 (2022) and HB 655 (2021).
