HB 533 -- STOLEN FIREARM SEARCH

SPONSOR: Mayhew

This bill specifies that the State Highway Patrol shall, subject to appropriation, maintain a publicly accessible web page listing the serial number of firearms and whether the firearm has been reported stolen. All law enforcement agencies making arrests pursuant to 43.507, RSMo, shall notify the central repository of any firearm reported stolen and the serial number of that firearm.

This bill is the same as HB 1580 (2022).
