HB 1305 -- UTILITY DISCONNECTIONS

This bill prohibits gas or electric companies from discontinuing service to residential customers for nonpayment where gas or electricity is used for heating under certain conditions during cold weather. A utility may establish a higher temperature threshold below which it will not discontinue utility service.
