SB 702 - This act prohibits operation of any freight or work train carrying hazardous material that exceeds 8500 feet in length on any part of a main track or branch line. Any railroad or person who willfully violates this act shall be subject to criminal penalties as outlined in the act.
This act is identical to HB 636 (2023).
