HB 490 - Under current law, the boards of directors for industrial development corporations in third class counties without a township form of government and with more than 10,400 but fewer than 10,500 inhabitants shall consist of a number of directors not less than the total number of townships in the county, with each township electing one director to the board. Beginning August 28, 2023, the board of directors for industrial development corporations in such counties shall have the same composition requirements as in all other counties in the state, which is that the board shall consist of at least five directors who are appointed by the county commission.

This act is identical to a provision in HCS/HB 1049 (2023).
