SJR 57 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, provides that crime victims shall have the right to bring a civil cause of action against a defendant or any other person or entity who caused or contributed to cause the injury to the victim during a time frame no shorter than the time frame under which a criminal case for the injury may be brought.

This amendment is identical to SJR 64 (2024) and HJR 112 (2024).
