SB 797 - Current law prohibits any state moneys being paid to any regional planning commission that promotes or advocates the construction of a major airport facility in Illinois. This act repeals such prohibition. (Section 251.032)
Additionally, this act prohibits any payment to a regional planning commission whose representation is not substantially based on proportional representation based on the population of each member jurisdiction, provided that each member jurisdiction shall have at least one vote. (Section 251.034)
