SB 818 - Under current law, peace officers must complete three hours of continuing education within a three year reporting period that includes training on the prohibition of racial profiling. This act provides that the total hours shall be increased to nine hours per reporting period, and should include three hours of racial profiling training, three hours of implicit bias training, and three hours of de-escalation training.
