HB 835 Modifies provisions relating to in-home licensed day care

HCS/HB 835 - This act repeals a provision of current law that permits up to two children five years of age or older who are related to a child care provider in a licensed family child care home to be excluded from the maximum number of children for which the home is licensed. The child care provider shall provide notice to parents regarding the children in excess of the maximum. Under this act, any in-home licensed day care provider shall qualify for an exemption for up to two children who are related to the individual who is responsible for the daily operation of the in-home licensed day care.
