HCS/HB 565 - Currently, certain persons or entities involved in equine or livestock activities are not liable for an injury or death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of the activity, with limited exceptions. Current law also provides an exemption from this limited liability for failure to use the degree of care that an ordinarily careful and prudent person would use under the same or similar circumstances. This act repeals this exemption from limited liability.KATIE O'BRIEN
