SJR 80 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, authorizes the General Assembly to provide for an income tax credit for contributions made to agencies that provide support to pregnant and new mothers, born and unborn children, and their families, including nonprofit pregnancy resource centers, provided that any law authorizing such contributions shall not allow for tax credits to be authorized by an entity that performs, induces, or refers for abortions or holds itself out as performing, inducing, or referring for abortions. This amendment is identical to a provision in SJR 17 (2025) and SJR 87 (2024).
