HB 87 - Currently, assessments by a Neighborhood
Improvement District may be made on property within the district,
it was unclear whether "property" was limited to real property.
This act provides that Neighborhood Improvement Districts may
only make assessments on real property located within the
district. This act also allows a Neighborhood Improvement
District to be organized in a territory covering more than one
county.
