HB 94 -- Shooting Contests
Under this bill political subdivisions may not prohibit the operation of shooting clubs which presently exist or prohibit the organization and operation of turkey shoots. A shooting club is defined as a private organization operating a facility in an enclosed area where persons may lawfully possess and discharge firearms at targets. Turkey shoots are defined as events organized by charitable organizations where persons may lawfully possess and discharge firearms at targets.
