HB 156 -- Conflict of Interest
The bill makes it a conflict of interest for a public official or employee to use his or her decision-making authority for the purpose of materially enriching a business entity with which he or she is associated. The bill also prohibits such a person from serving on any decision-making entity which has any transactions with such a business entity.
