HB 204 -- Engineers
Co-Sponsors: Backer and Treadway
Along with various technical changes, this bill makes it unlawful for anyone to practice as or falsely hold themselves out as being a professional engineer without first being certified by the State Board for Engineers.
The bill also requires those applying for certification with the state board, who are residents of this state, to attend a one day seminar for the purpose of familiarizing themselves with certain provisions of the law and the rules and regulations established by the board.
This bill contains penalty provisions.
