HB 207 -- Use of Vehicle Headlamps
This bill requires that motor vehicle headlamps be used from sunset to sunrise, when windshield wipers are needed due to rainy conditions, and at any other time when, due to snow, fog, smoke or other atmospheric conditions, persons or vehicles are not clearly discernible at a distance of 1,000 feet. Current law requires use of headlamps from a half-hour after sunset to a half-hour before sunrise and when there is not sufficient visibility at 500 feet.
