HB 231 -- Conflict of Interest
Co-Sponsors: Canuteson and McLuckie
This bill prohibits members of the General Assembly and statewide elected officials from performing services as a lobbyist for two years after leaving office.
The bill also prohibits any lobbyist from providing to a member of the General Assembly any kind of gift, including food and beverages, or in-kind contribution as defined in RSMo 130.011 (12). Campaign contributions made in accordance with existing law are exempt.
