HB 248 -- Provisional Licensed Social Workers
Along with technical changes, this bill establishes a new category of license for social workers to be known as provisional licensed social worker. This license will be available to applicants who have completed all the requirements of a licensed clinical social worker except for the 24 month supervised clinical social work experience. Upon completion of the supervised clinical social work experience, applicants may apply for licensure as a licensed clinical social worker.
