HB 284 -- Termite Inspections
This bill says that if a termite inspection is required by a real estate contract it must be performed by or under the direct supervision of a certified commercial applicator licensed to perform termite pest control.
The bill also prohibits persons from holding themselves out as being certified commercial applicators or persons working under direct supervision of a certified commercial applicator unless they are licensed by the Department of Agriculture. Persons found in violation will be guilty of a class C misdemeanor.
