HB 298 -- Insurance Coverage of Fibrocystic Conditions
The bill prohibits health insurers and similar entities from denying coverage or excluding benefits solely because the insured has a fibrocystic condition, unless the condition is diagnosed by a breast biopsy that demonstrates an increased disposition to breast cancer.
