HB 391 -- Insurance Coverage of Mental Health Services
Current law requires health insurers and similar entities to offer mental illness coverage. If the insured accepts the offer, services can be provided by psychiatrists, psychologists, and licensed professional counselors. This bill allows services to be provided by licensed clinical social workers.
