HB 429 - This act requires that five points be added to the
score on a merit examination for former state employees who left
state employment to care for children. The preference shall only
be given to persons who were occupied full-time within the home
for at least two years as the caretaker of children under the age
of 10. The five point preference is equal to the current
veterans' preference. (Similar to SB 200).
