HB 482 -- Crane Operators
This bill establishes within the Department of Public Safety the Construction Crane and Hoisting Equipment Operators' Licensing Board. It will be unlawful for anyone to operate any type of hoisting equipment without first obtaining a license from the department.
The bill contains provisions regarding exemptions to licensure, classes of licenses, age and experience requirements, application and licensing fees, examinations, revocation and suspension, fines for illegal operation, and rule making authority of the board.
