HB 488 -- Training for Judges and Peace Officers
This bill requires each county and municipality to segregate funds to pay for the continued education and certification of municipal judges. Also, judicial education and training for the court administrator and clerks of the municipal court will be provided by the municipality. The bill also requires the funding and payment of training for certified law enforcement officers or candidates for certification as law enforcement officers.
