HB 568 -- Domestic Violence Offenders
The bill requires persons convicted of violating an adult protective order or assaulting an adult household or family member to participate in a treatment program for domestic violence offenders.
The bill also requires the State Courts Administrator, after consulting with the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic Violence, to establish guidelines for judges to use in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs for domestic violence offenders.
