SCS/SB 504 - This act allows the Gaming Commission Fund to be used for all administrative costs of the Commission. Currently, this fund may only be used for the administrative costs of the Commission that relate to excursion gambling boat operations.
Under current law all interest earned by the Highways and Transportation Fund in excess of that earned in FY '91 is retained in the fund. The remainder is placed in general revenue. This act would allow the Highways and Transportation Fund to retain all interest.
The Missouri Highway patrol may establish a Division of Gaming if it enters into an agreement with the Gaming Commission to enforce Missouri law relating to bingo, horse racing and excursion gambling.
The current law allows the use of a portion of fees,
penalties and reimbursement for services provided by the
Commission for capital improvements to veterans' homes. This act
allows moneys to be expended for veterans' cemeteries.
