SB 532 - This act would permit any noncharter first
classification county with a population between 150,000 and
200,000 inhabitants (Jefferson and Clay counties) to hold 911
board member elections in April, as an alternative to November,
subject to approval of the county commission. Should a county
decide to switch to the April date, the terms of current board
members would be reduced by seven months.
