SB 546 - This act would include private retirement benefits, in addition to state and federal government retirement benefits, as those benefits which qualify for a state income tax exemption.
This act is nearly identical to SB 77 of 1995. The effective date is January 1, 1997, and it applies to all taxable years after December 31, 1996.
This act is similar to SB 585 (1996).
