SB 595 - This act changes provisions relating to community services by probationers.
Any person, community, organization, agency or employee of such is immune from any cause of action by a probationer or anyone deriving a cause of action from a probationer if the cause of action arises from performance of free work by a probationer or from supervision of that work.
Services performed by a probationer shall not be considered
employment under workers' compensation provisions nor shall such
probationer be considered a public employee in determining his
benefits or the liability of his employer unless specified
otherwise.
