SCS/SBs 613 & 714 - This act provides that property owners
may not prevent a tenant from obtaining cable TV service or
charge a fee from a tenant to allow the tenant to obtain cable TV
service from a franchised cable TV provider within the franchise
area. The cable TV franchisee shall indemnify the property owner
for damages from installation, operation or removal of cable TV
facilities and service. No cable TV service shall be installed
in a residential dwelling unless requested by the occupant.
